cooking. ideolgy

I shall start by stating that i do not hate cooking. In fact, cooking can be fun. Cooking for oneself is pathetic, u gone through the whole lot of preparation, oiled face n hair, sometimes finger cuts, den when u finally accomplished the mission, u realised it's tastless. the amount of time spent is juz not justified. but well, u might still be happy cos at least u completed cooking and filled ur stomache.

Cooking for more people sounds better. u have a heavier responsibilty and u wouldn't wan to mess things up. cos eating tastless food urself is ok, but serving tastless food to others is against ur conscious. u put on the apron, follow each steps from the recipe carefully, mayb even up to the point where u use a measuring cup to ensure the correct amt of ingredients to put in. u are tt precise, cos u wan others to enjoy the meal.

Cooking with people can be challenging. u haf a preconcieved idea of the ways to cook to a delicious meal and u think u are rite. comon', my mom cooks it this way too, it can't be wrong, u think. his mom cooks it his way too and he can't be wrong either! conflicts arise. but it wouln't be so bad, conflict is too strong a word to use. mayb juz some slight disagreements. all these can be solve cos' we all work towards a common goal. at most, add some chilli or pepper at the end if it's not to ur taste.

My fren told me that cooking is like architecture. but i can't rem the rest of the part cos my mind automatically shuts off when i see metaphors lidat. a lot of things can be like architecture, the list goes on. i juz wan to noe that whatever things we do, we have to like it. if u did it and realised tt it's not ur cup of tea, dun do it again. pls dun try to find reasons to substantiate wat you like. if u do that, u already dun like wat u r doing.
